INTIMACY COORDINATION
As an Intimacy Coordinator I help the performers and the production team prepare and execute scenes of heightened intimacy, nudity and simulated sex. I combine movement techniques, boundaries and creative impulses to support the director's vision. I help to keep the performers informed and act as a liaison between them and production. We co-create a creative container! This process saves production time when on set and allows the performers the opportunity to engage with informed consent.
I advocate, support and create in collaboration with each person I meet and each production I work on.

INTIMACY DIRECTION
As an Intimacy Director I help the performers and the production team prepare and execute scenes of heightened intimacy, nudity and simulated sex. I combine movement techniques, boundaries and creative impulses to support the director's vision. I help to keep the performers informed and act as liaison between them and production. I integrate into the production much like a designer or fight director would. I help provide dramaturgical reasoning behind the intimacy so that it is specific to your story and characters.
What you can expect:
Attendance at production meetings, script breakdown and risk assessment, assistance with casting breakdowns, assistance with riders, meetings with designers, supporting with modesty garments, introductory workshop, multiple rehearsals, creating a plan B and sometimes C, protocols for closed rehearsal spaces, protocols for rehearsing intimacy, intimacy calls, closure practices, mental health support, attendance at tech and dress, availability during run of show.

WORKSHOPS
I have been an educator in the performance industry for 5+ years now. My approach to teaching is to create a strong container for students to be able to explore, connect and share in a way that feels exciting and sustainable.
